Thanksgiving will be here before we know it! Can you help to provide local families in need have a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner?
We expect to hand out about 30 baskets this year. We are in need of both perishable and non-perishable items to fill each basket.
Please bring in the following items by Sunday, November 17.
· Canned fruit
· Canned vegetables
· Stuffing or bread mix
· 100% juice
· Canned or boxed potatoes
· Dessert*
· Turkey/Ham** or donation for purchase
We are also asking for donations of perishable items to complete the Thanksgiving baskets. There will be a sign-up sheet in the narthex for perishable items. Please deliver them to the church by Sunday, November 24.
Due to the amount of shopping that may be necessary, please try to have all items in by the dates noted. If you signed up for perishable items but are unable to provide them for any reason, please let Betty know ASAP.
Monetary donations are also welcome! They can be mailed to church or placed in the offering. Please mark your donation “For Thanksgiving Baskets.”
We will not have the help of the Boy Scouts food collection this year, so please consider sharing the information about our Thanksgiving food drive with your family and friends.

* If you are donating a cake mix or pie filling as a dessert, please include all necessary ingredients (pie crust, icing etc)
** Turkey or ham can be placed in the freezer in the kitchen
